Ive been using the German 65L rucksack as a sort of patrol/recce bag for over a year now. I can say its one of the most uncomfortable rucks Ive used, and I recently had a near catastrophic blow out with one of the shoulder straps while I was in less that ideal conditions outside. Ive been continplating buying the Molle patrol pack, seeing as Ive lost all faith in the old German ruck. Its just too big for what I need it for and too uncomfortable not to mention the shoulder straps blowing out and the lack of webbing to be found on the ruck. This bag peaked my interest Ive seen them around at the local surplus store but never thought anything of them. I will defiently be looking into this as a potential replacement, or at the very least an experimental bag. As you stated I would most likely end up adding some compression straps and extra webbing to accommodate tarps, canteens, etc. Thanks for the post, it couldnt have come at a better time!

I have one of these packs and I agree, needs more Molle webbing attachment points. To me the straps are a little thin if you really load it up. I have been using mine as a training ruck, loading up with sandbags and bricks. It does ok for this application. Still searching for that perfect patrol pack, although I really like my Spec Ops Recon ruck ultra. Modern Alice pack made out of heavy cordura nylon with Molle attachment on the sides and the top flap. Thanks for the video!

Sadly for me, Ive never found perfection in anything I use.. Its always a trade off with pro's and con's needing to be weighed.. Its tiring....

Thanks for stopping in..
